Car Hire

You don’t need a car to enjoy Playa Blanca — the promenade, beaches and restaurants are all walkable. But the rest of the island is genuinely worth seeing and a hire car is by far the cheapest way to do it. Rates are low on the island compared to many other destinations.

Roads are quiet, well surfaced and easy to drive. Fuel is cheap, parking is free almost everywhere, and Timanfaya, the north of the island and the wine region are all comfortable day trips.
